Amenities and Unique Features

All Plaza Premium lounges in Taipei offer comfortable seating, a range of cuisine, and a variety of complimentary beverages. Free Wi-Fi is available, so you can stay connected while you relax.

For Business Travelers

If you're travelling for business, take advantage of the lounges' quiet honeycomb workspaces, where you can prepare for your meetings or catch up on emails. If you need to get some serious work done, you might want to head to the Terminal 1 lounges, which are reportedly less busy in the early morning and late evening.

For Leisure Travelers

For those looking to unwind before their flight, all lounges provide a relatively peaceful environment with comfy seating areas.

The Terminal 2 Zone A and A1 lounges are recommended for their wide selection of hot foods, both Western and Asian, including a highly praised beef noodle soup.

The Terminal 2 Zone A lounge also has sleep rooms which we cover below.

Sleep Rooms

The Zone A, Terminal 2 Plaza Premium Lounge at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport offers private relaxation suites, fully decked out with cosy beds and private toilets, making it the perfect oasis for weary travellers in need of rest and good sleep.

These sleep rooms offer the ideal environment to relax or sleep amidst a long journey, and we had the pleasure of enjoying these first-hand on a recent trip to Taiwan. The room we had contained twin beds, which was perfect for a tired grandfather and his grandson to have a good nap before a very late-night flight! You can see an example room in the image carousel below.

These suites can be pre-booked online via Plaza Premium for the following time slots and prices:

  • 6 hours for 4,980 TWD (about US$160)

  • 12 hours for 6,600 TWD (about US$213)

Shower Facilities

If you'd like to freshen up before your journey, you can find hot shower facilities at the Plaza Premium Lounge in Zone A, Terminal 2, as well as at the Plaza Premium Lounge in Zone D, Terminal 1.

Please note that shower facilities are available at an additional cost.
