Lounge Layout and Seating

‘Eventyr’ means fairytale in Danish, and the lounge is named thus as a nod to renowned author Hans Christen Anderson, who wrote adventure fairytales and was also an enthusiastic traveller.

In this context, the naming of the Eventyr Lounge at Copenhagen Airport can be seen not only as a homage to Anderson’s rich storytelling legacy, but also to symbolically indicate the space as a portal to adventure, exploration and wonder.

This is an enchanting lounge, with a 180-degree panoramic view from Öresund to Sweden and the airport runways, which floods the circular room with natural light.

The interior features designs carefully selected from Erik Jørgensen and Hay. There is prominent use of neutral wooden decor, tanned leather seating, spherical lighting fixtures, and a living wall of greenery lining the windows and beverage section.

The lounge is approximately 740sqm with more than 170 seats.
