The Complete Guide to Kuala Lumpur (KUL) Airport Lounges
Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) serves as Malaysia's main international gateway. It is located in the Sepang District of Selangor, and is around 45 km (28 mi) south of downtown Kuala Lumpur. The airport is the largest and busiest in Malaysia, and is officially recognised as a mega hub. It was designed using the ‘Airport in the Forest, Forest in the Airport’ concept, in which it is surrounded by greenery.
The airport is split into two main Terminals: KLIA1, home to full-service international airlines and the national carrier, Malaysia Airlines; and KLIA2, which is dedicated to low-cost carriers like AirAsia. The KLIA Ekspres train links both Terminals to Kuala Lumpur’s city center.
Kuala Lumpur International Airport currently has 18 open lounges available to travellers.
This comprehensive guide will provide information about their locations, amenities, pricing, access methods, and layout to help you make an informed decision about which lounge best suits your needs and budget.
To make life easier, we have included a list with links that you can use to jump to any lounge of interest.
