The Plaza Premium Lounge for Departures is located in Terminal 1 (International) at Sydney Airport (also known as "SYD").

Lounge Location and Details

You'll find the Plaza Premium Departures Lounge in Terminal 1 near Gate 24. After clearing immigration and security and keep heading straight ahead. Look for the entrance next to the former site of the American Express lounge.

The lounge is currently open daily from 830am until 10pm daily.

The Plaza Premium Lounge provides various seating zones to accommodate up to 70 guests:

  • Booth-style seats and dining tables

  • A few workbench seats by the windows

The rectangular space features a design that departs from Plaza Premium's typical darker palette, instead drawing on Sydney-inspired lighter colors, bursts of greenery and natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the airport apron.

Lounge guests can enjoy a selection of complimentary dining options:

  • Breakfast options like fruits, yogurt, cereal, pastries and hot dishes made to order from an a la carte menu (served until 11:30am)

  • All-day dining with a choice of salads, pizzas, sandwiches and hot dishes also available from an a la carte menu

  • Afternoon high tea service from 1pm-4pm with sweet and savory bites

  • Soft drinks, juices, coffee by baristas and Dilmah teas

  • Beers, wines and spirits from a tended bar (premium options available for a fee)

Day Pass: Book access to the lounge directly through LoungePair from AUD$54.00 (US$36.00). Your pass can be used any time within its expiry, with no need to specify time or date of travel. The pass grants a maximum 3 hour stay.

Through your airline: Select premium cabin and elite frequent flyer access with Hainan Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Malindo Air, Samoa Airways and Delta/Virgin Australia have access included to the lounge. Check with your airline for more details.
